Wedding Date on Dec 11, 2021

Melissa and Jay T met on Tinder six years ago. They got married on the sixth anniversary of the day they met at a Starbucks in Mississauga. They played a mixed CD of Disney Music and Hilary Duff on their second date, and Melissa knew it was something special. Since then, Melissa and Jay T have been attached at the hip. They love to travel around the world together, own a house and have a dog named Bruce. They love spending their nights playing music, dancing, playing A LOT of Catan and doing ordinary things together. In July 2020, JT surprised Mel and drove to her family cottage and proposed on the dock. She had no idea even though he was dressed up and she was in her swimsuit. They set out from that point planning their wedding. We were brought in during the later stages of their planning, and everything had already been worked out. They planned to do everything at the Tapestry Hall in Cambridge, and did they ever make the right decision! The weather was touch and go throughout the day with rain and a crazy windstorm, and power outages all over Southern Ontario. But Melissa and Jay T didn’t need to worry about a thing, being at such a stunning venue with lots of space for everything to happen. But they did luck out at the end of the day when the wind blew in some snow, and they got their snowy December wedding they’d been hoping for. You can genuinely see the spark between Melissa and Jay T, and their love for each other goes way beyond this single day celebrating their commitment to each other. They are each others’ person. Their vows showed how silly they are and how taken they are. It was an honour to witness and document the joy and celebration of their love, and we wish them all the joy in their marriage.
