Kiley and Paul have been together for eight years already. When you spend time with them, it’s hard to imagine them ever not being together. They’re so connected and in tune with one another, which they say they experienced an instant connection when they met way back in 2013. Now here they are, eight years and three kids later, and they finally all share one last name- Stewart.
It was such a blast hearing Kiley and Paul’s story unfold throughout the speeches during their reception. Kiley was often called a gypsy, and her family seems to be surprised that she travelled the world, starting in Cape Breton and landing in Kincardine. That being said, fewer people are surprised at why… she and Paul are an absolutely perfect match, and we were all so ready to celebrate their relationship.
On their first date, Paul took Kiley out to his parent’s property, and he told her that he’d love to have a big party with all his friends out there one day. Well, this was the day! They cleared the land, planted grass, put up a tent and toilets, and prepped their favourite place in the world for the wedding of their dreams. The teamwork and effort that went into making the property everything they wanted for their wedding were remarkable, and it paid off. The view was spectacular, and a full moon filled the sky as their tent shook with all the East-coast dancing.
Kiley and Paul called this their “covid-over party,” and that’s exactly what it felt like. They say loved ones they hadn’t seen in over a year and a half. They hugged, danced, laughed, and enjoyed every person throughout the entire day. It felt incredible to be at an event with so much life and energy after such a draining year for so many of us.
Thank you, Kiley and Paul, for choosing us to capture this unbelievable day. We left buzzed from the energy and joy from the day and fell absolutely in love with you and your people. Your marriage is going to be incredible. We can feel it.
