Sarah and Zack met on their last day of summer camp when they were teenagers. They didn’t realize until they said goodbye that they lived very far apart (Quebec and Ontario) and would be beginning a long-distance relationship for several years. Their friendship grew, and they each moved to the other’s province for a period of time to be close to each other. Fast forward a few years, and they’re taking a step that they are absolutely certain about. For Sarah and Zack, getting married is something that God has called them to do. They believe that they’ve stood the test of time to know that they want to be together for the rest of their lives, and Covid was not about to stop them!
When we chatted with them, about a month before their wedding, they were still figuring out some details, like where they’d get married and how many people would be able to join them. They kept their focus on what was important to them- the marriage part- and everything else fell into place. Their wedding day was relaxed and intimate and so much fun. I mean, how many people do you know go longboarding for a few hours on their wedding day?? These two love to adventure together, and they prioritized including that in their celebration.
You can tell through their vows just how much they love each other and have grown together. It was an incredible honour to witness this celebration and tell their story. Congratulations, dear friends. We wish you all the best in your marriage!
