Wedding Date on Aug 7, 2021

Ten years. Taylor and Mack have been together for ten years, and she is totally right; they built something so beautiful at that time. They met at a pub in college, and as Taylor said it, “they just never stopped hanging out.” With a shared love of volleyball, both playing and coaching, they were a natural fit for each other. Mack is a quiet, confident companion to Taylor’s bubbly, optimistic, and determined personality. It was an honour to follow them around with our cameras throughout their wedding day because they naturally fell in step with each other and shared so many genuine and meaningful moments. With Taylor’s wedding planning experience, she had many dreams for the day she’d marry Mack. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, their plans changed from a 2020 wedding to a 2021 wedding, to a small 2021 wedding (this one), and a big party in 2022. We had a handful of tearful calls, many emails, and then the freaking best day ever. It was hard to believe this was plan C because it was absolutely incredible. Taylor and Mack were determined to be fully present and thankful for the moments they had. They chose a very sentimental family property in Parry Sound on the lake to share their vows. The dock was even the spot that Mack had proposed to Taylor back in 2019. Taylor finally got to pull her stunning Harmony by Willoby dress out of the closet and dance all day in it. We loved that Taylor didn’t wait for the dance party at the end of the day to dance, she and her friends were so ready to celebrate, and the dance floor was used all day long. It goes without saying that Taylor Swift is a big inspiration for this Taylor. There were hand-painted signs across the property with lyrics from Taylor Swift songs. Both Taylor and Mack had lyrics woven into their vows and letters. We listened to her music all day long. You might think it’s too much Taylor Swift, but Taylor said it so beautifully in her vows, “you are the one I’m thinking of when I dance and sing to all those Taylor Swift love songs.” How sweet is that?? There’s something so special when someone else puts your heart into words, and we can see how that shows up for these two. Congratulations, Taylor and Mack! You two are an inspiration for commitment and synchronicity. We loved getting to know you and celebrating along with you on this beautiful day.
