Wedding Date on May 12, 2023

We met on a dating app, a modern day love story! We laugh now, as at the time we both did not know the distance preference on the app was preset to the widest range. We lived an hour and a half away from one another, but after the first couple dates, we both knew this was something different! We are glad now, as we found our forever! About a year and a half into our relationship, we purchased my childhood home! It was beyond special, to carry on family traditions, and make some new traditions of our own. To be able to make the house I love so dearly, our home, meant a lot to us. It brings us joy to think about one day raising children, and growing our family here, just as my Mom and Dad have. On our two year anniversary, James' proposed! He had a beautiful evening all planned out, and I had no idea. He proposed at the Butterfly Conversation, in the Royal Botanical Gardens, Niagara Falls. He had rented out the space after closing, so it was just the two of us. He hired a photographer to capture the special moment, then we did a proposal shoot in the gardens! Later that evening, we went for a horse and carriage ride in Niagara-on-the-Lake, before having dinner at the Prince Of Wales Hotel. The following day, James coordinated a party with our families to celebrate our engagement! The entire weekend was perfect, it felt like a fairytale! On May 12, 2023, we had the wedding day of our DREAMS! We could not have asked for a more perfect day, everything was beyond our expectations! After the wedding, we planned a bucket list trip for our honeymoon. We went on an African safari and beach vacation, to Tanzania and Zanzibar! It truly was a trip of a lifetime, and one we will always cherish!
