Wedding Date on Aug 6, 2022

Kailyn and Taron celebrated their wedding at the Riverstone Retreat Centre in Durham, Ontario. They were surrounded by family and long-time friends, and it was a riot. The beauty of having been together for most of your growing up years is that you know all the same people. Kailyn and Taron met in public school, and Taron had asked her out a few times, but she kept turning him down because they were friends. Kailyn eventually said yes, and they dated until just before high school- broke up, and got back together again four months later. I guess you could say they’re childhood sweethearts! What started out as a crush grew into a really deep love. They had always talked about marriage and envisioned their lives together. For Kailyn, it always felt right, even when they were younger. She knew Taron was always going to be in her life, and she knew she wanted him to be a big part of it. They got engaged shortly after buying their first house together. Kailyn had booked a photo shoot for them to get pictures together so we could have some to hang in the house. Taron ended up connecting with the photographer and telling her he was planning on proposing and asked if she could capture the moment! I asked them what marriage means to them, and here’s what they said: “To me (Kailyn), marriage is getting to spend forever with my best friend. Sharing all of life’s adventures together, getting to create the life we’ve always dreamt of, supporting each other’s dreams and encouraging each other through challenges.” “Marriage to me (Taron) is a way of showing Kailyn that she truly is the one for me, in a way that no other physical act or words can show.” While their wedding day was incredibly hot in Southern Ontario, nobody was phased and it was so much fun. Kailyn and Taron were so present and focused on the people around them and each other, making the whole day an absolute joy. They danced, laughed, kissed, sang, and cried together, and it was magical. Congratulations, Kailyn and Taron. You two are made for each other.
