Raziel and Jack were supposed to have their big wedding celebration on 3/21/2020, about a week after the whole world shut down. They decided to have their wedding in their living room, just the two of them and a priest to witness. The absolute sweetest. They dressed up, and even had a first dance in the middle of their new apartment together. They rescheduled their bigger celebration for 3/20/2021, only to realize closer to that date, that they would need to push back their big celebration yet another year to March of 2022. They decided to continue with their intimate ceremony at the church Raziel grew up in, and have this small celebration with family and friends for a total of THREE weddings when everything is said and done. That second celebration is the one you will see here.
Their day started off getting ready in Raziel's childhood home. So many small, sweet moments of family throughout. Jack's parents could not attend, so you will see him FaceTiming with them and his twin sister and siblings during getting ready. The beginning is them having a first dance with one another in the Anaheim hills. This is their wedding song. The song they danced to in their living room a year prior and now hold memories from this day as well.
These two met in their college Acapella group and both love to sing. I love how the beginning has them singing their wedding song together in such a quiet and intimate space. I love the joy on their faces as they recessed down the aisle of Raziel's childhood church. After all of the adversities they've faced through planning, they still find a reason to be joyous and grateful. My kinda people. Hope you love being immersed into their day!
