Wedding Date on Aug 15, 2021

Megan & Michael were intentional with every detail of their day. From the location, to the small group of close friends and family they invited, to the way they spent their time, and all of the little tiny details. It was all well thought through, just as is reflected with how they approach their relationship. Megan's mom passed away a handful of years before their day, and the way that she incorporated her mother into this day was so, so special. Using her bible, carrying photos around with them and having a framed photo present at their ceremony, and even doing a first look with her maternal grandparents after the fact (they live on the east coast and could not attend). I intentionally placed that first look where it is in the film. These two rented out an air bnb, and created a relaxed day for the two of them and their guests. They got ready separately, and enjoyed lots of intentional time with their friends and family beforehand. Slowing down and really setting the tone for the whole rest of the day. They had their first look in the woods, where they spent some time with one another playing music and taking film photos. Before they met back up with their family and friends for a small cocktail hour in their air bnb where they enjoyed snacks, listen to music, and danced with their loved ones before heading out to their ceremony spot. The hike to their ceremony was sacred in itself. Such a fun time where they could be with their loved ones and anticipated their vows one another. After their sweet, sweet ceremony. They ran out to an Arcade Fire song and experienced the opening scene of this film. So much love filled in that! The night ended with beer and fries on the beach, where they shared kind words and danced the night away around the fire. There were even random fireworks going off around them that were such a fun and surprising addition. Everything just turned out beautifully on this day. It was so them and so intimately, unique and special. So honored to have been able to witness it, capture their love and create this film for them to have forever. Hope you enjoy being immersed into their day!
