Just listen to those vows; the way these two know and love each other is so special. They took the time to write out their feelings for each other and their commitments for their marriage. Nearly every guest was crying and Kevyn could tell Annie was about to as well, hence him saying, “don’t start crying.”.
Annie and Kevyn didn’t want anything crazy when it came to their wedding. They wanted to be married, and they knew that the rest of the details would come together. And come together, they did. Surrounded by their best friends and family, they married at Irvineside Farm, just outside of Elora. They kept the decor simple, as the venue was stunning enough. They were dressed in style, Annie’s dress from Essence of Australia and Kevyn's custom suit from Moore’s. You could tell that the people around them were incredibly important to them, from long-time friends to siblings to coworkers turned BFFs.
Annie and Kevyn are some of the lucky ones, having met on Tinder nearly four years ago. They didn’t expect to meet the one they’d marry there, but life has a way of surprising us, doesn’t it? They entered their relationship with a handful of differences in stage of life, family history, and things they find comfort in. They quickly fell in step with each other, falling fast in love, but it took them a while to say the words, “I love you.” Now they flow without them even noticing they’re saying it.
About a year before their wedding, Annie and Kevyn took a considerable step together and bought a fixer-upper house in the small town of Elmira to renovate and make their home. This is where we began their engagement session (you’ll notice the footage of them from a different day, I’m sure), and we hopped around our shared hometown enjoying the walking paths, ice cream, and downtown strip. It was such a fun evening hanging out, laughing, and getting to know one another, and we quickly knew why their friends and family were so crazy about them.
Their wedding day was intimate, meaningful, and not too full of fluff. They focused on what was important to them and let go of all the unnecessary tradition. Annie and Kevyn's love for each other is an inspiration, and we were so honoured to capture and document this moment in their lives. Congratulations, sweet friends; we wish you all the best in your marriage and beyond!
