Wedding Date on Aug 19, 2017

Imagine a 17 year old boy with a spiked hair do, super tan skin and a super kind smile that just makes you laugh. Like how could you be that cute. We both ran track for different schools and had a mutual friend who had been telling me about this “Landon” or better known as “Tandon” for weeks, that she could see us really digging one another. So We are out on the field in between races and are finally introduced. He gave me a second place ribbon he found on the ground and made some dumb joke. I was annoyed It was second place and thought he was a total tool. So I said “see ya”and handed the ribbon to some girl on his team and said it was from Landon. She gushed, and I ran. A week later, Landon and I saw each other again at the conference meet and this time It was different. We actually had a conversation and I was really interested in learning more about this goofy, hilarious, smart and absolutely handsome guy. So we all went bowling that night and that’s where dreams were made. We continued to hang out in a big group of friends and got to know each other over the summer. I went off to college in California while he finished his senior year of high school. We started dating long distance half way through the year and continued to date for five and a half years after that. We worked as Raft Guides at a white water rafting company called Noah’s Ark in Buena Vista, CO. Here, our relationship was tested physically, emotionally and mentally. Well I was tested and he had to decide whether to ride my emotional roller coaster with me or not. He hopped on and was the most caring and passionate for me, even though I was loco'. Rafting was easy for him and totally fun for me but It was challenging and he helped me through it. We grew a lot at Noah’s - we always say It was the best job we’ll ever have. It was such an adventure and we got to grow closer to God and to one another and meet and work with the most incredible people along the way. After each summer rafting we returned to Fort Collins, Co where for the next few years he lived with 6 guys and I lived with 6 girls just down the street from one another. Landon has taught me so much about challenging myself and seeing the positives in absolutely every situation. He is a doer, a go getter, an adventurer, he loves his family and friends as well as the outcast so freaking well. Landon Loves to love and I couldn’t be more thankful to have someone like him love me so much.If I had any advice for the future bride and groom- HIRE A LITTLE LONG DISTANCE to capture your entire day. Not only do they do an incredible job, but they make you feel like a million bucks and like you gained a new best friend. So kind, caring and absolutely involved and passionate about making your day special! I cannot speak highly enough about Josh from A Little Long Distance. We didn't know him before hiring, but felt so comfortable with him and we just love the guy now and so did everyone else in our wedding party! He was incredible to say the least!!!
