Wedding Date on Jul 8, 2017

Raymond and I met our first year at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. We shared a pre-health class together and it didn't take long to learn we had a LOT in common regarding what we wanted to pursue in our future. The more we interacted, I saw how much of a leader he was on campus, that he loved to surf, and was the friendliest person I had ever met. And that was the beginning of our friendship. We quickly realized we were the only two Spanish major, pre-health undergraduates on campus, and I mean come on is that fate or what?! I spent my sophomore year abroad in Argentina, but when I arrived on campus the first face I was greeted by was Ray, again with fate/divine intervention?! We are forever grateful that we first fostered our relationship as friends for the first few months of that year, but it didn't take much longer for me to know he was going to be the one. By fall of my senior year, we were engaged and were thrilled out of our minds to start this adventure together. Looking back, I know how much God's hands were crafting our story. He led us together so organically and that was what we wanted our guests to feel at our wedding. Here as in Heaven, marriage has been the greatest gift and for us, a reflection of the love that Christ so unselfishly gives. We are beyond grateful to each of our families for making this day so special, for friends who traveled from all across the country to celebrate with us, and to our extremely talented vendors who created this dreamland in my backyard!!
