Wedding Date on Aug 6, 2018

Kevin was born in Ohio, raised in Colorado Springs, and moved to Fort Collins to attend Colorado State University in the fall of 2012. Ashley was born and raised in Holland, Michigan, and moved to Fort Collins in the summer of 2015 just to have an adventure. Only two weeks after Ashley's arrival to Fort Collins, the two met at Two Rivers Church while volunteering for coffee prep and sound set up early in the morning. Kevin spotted Ashley through the kitchen window, and from that day on, didn't stop pursuing her. After about 5 official dates, while sitting on her roof drinking beer and looking at the stars, he asked her to be his girlfriend. A year and a half later, Kevin re-created their first date together and asked Ashley to spend the rest of her life with him. After collecting herself from falling on the ground, Ashley stood back up and through very blurry vision said a million times YES! Kevin and Ashley knew they wanted a wedding that wasn't the norm. Winter was the first choice made in creating a unique day. They took their time in ensuring the wedding was just their own. Things like the bouquet toss, garter toss, and favors went out the window! Other special events were added such as tables competing in various games to get to eat, and the father/daughter and mother/son dance done at the same time. All the choices they made, whether it was throwing tradition out the window or creating new ones of their own, ensured it was the best night of their lives! To anyone planning their wedding, they'd recommend doing it exactly how you want, stand up for yourself, and make sure to step back and enjoy every minute of it!
