Kelsey and David met in the 4th grade. Kelsey didn’t really like David at that time...he seemed a little too self-assured, she said, and she was more in favor of the underdog. They were school rivals, competing for the best grades, often teasing each other in the process. But in high school they were assigned seats next to each other in Spanish class. While the teasing continued, something deeper was developing. David gave Kelsey rides home from school, which turned into long drives around the block because they were never quite finished with their deep conversations and playful banter. Although they originally thought they were different from each other, they realized they had the most important and foundational things in common. A deep sacrificial love for each other grew overtime, leading them to join their lives together, forever.
