Wedding Date on Nov 23, 2019

The boy might like the girl if he does this: Purchases a rose from a rose peddler at a bar and makes a trail of rose pedals from her barstool to his. Possibly my favorite boy meets girl story ever. So, there was a little bit of a chase that ensued, but in the end these two found their soulmates. Josh turned Ellie into such an avid fisherman that she complained when Josh wanted to go take pictures together instead of fishing. She waited until after he dropped to one knee and gave her the ring before convincing him the boat should be the next stop. The fishing theme was strong throughout their wedding day. The guys' boutonnières featured large fish hooks and the grooms cake (best grooms cake EVER) was a fully edible yeti cooler packed with ice and fish. The roses certainly had their time too (see matching tattoos and the larger than life rose accompanying Josh's love note to Ellie before the wedding). After the wedding I insisted that we have a sunrise fishing film session, which was EPIC. We had incredible colors of the sun coming up over the Sebastian River and we Might have gotten the dress a tad wet. And let's just say it--it's hard to be a Tennessee Volunteer in Gater country. BUT, we find a way! Ellie's father says it best in his toast: "When you hear Rocky Top, you better get your damn feel off the ground!" And did we ever! Power T cookies, Rocky Top and shared tales of our time in Tenneessee, this UT girl felt right at home in no time! All in all, their day was freaking epic. THEY are epic and their STORY is epic. I miss them now actually. Guys, can we go fishing again??
