Wedding Date on Mar 2, 2019

Julie's father received devastating news that his recently discovered bone cancer was not treatable and he began declining rapidly. Julie and Alex planned their backyard wedding within 6 days, so her father could walk her down the aisle. Upon learning of the wedding we all went swiftly to work. During her first look with her father, Julie wore the dress she planned to wear for the "official" wedding in June so that he could see it. She changed gowns before the backyard ceremony to keep the dress secret for Alex until June. With the help of family, John was able to walk Julie down the aisle and give his daughter away to the love of her life. Their story is bittersweet, but we hope that in sharing their film, others will find inspiration by the courage, sacrifice, and love that Julie and Alex have shared with us.
