"I want to talk about impossible love tonight. Helenn told me the real story on how they met, which she's now going to regret. She was at Pride and she saw something she liked a lot." Jennifer admits Helenn's signals went completely over their head. But Helenn had a nice smile and they couldn't get her out of their head. Their best man said it perfectly "Has anyone actually seen the napkin thing work?" We can all say we have now, can't we? They were married at Up The Creek Farms in Grant-Valkaria with their closest friends and family--all of whom were TOTALLY down for their Dungeons and Dragons theme. It was definitely the best wedding decor I've seen to date. Cosplay weapons for the bridal party portraits, role play dice at every table, A BRIDAL CAPE and my favorite detail of all, Jenn's suit was embroidered with the iconic line from the book series Wheel of Time: "Dovie'andi se tovya sagain." (It's time to toss the dice.) I actually started to cry a little when Helenn read it out loud because it's one of my FAVORITE book series and to see it come to life at their wedding gave my inner nerd ALL the feels. Oh, and the dragon cake. They had a Dragon. Cake. So basically they are my favorite people of all time among all the many favorites of all time.. but with dragons and WoT and DnD. Enjoy their story. It's one for the ages to be sure.
