Wedding Date on May 22, 2021

The groom, Camden, was a manager at a local Chik-fil-a. The bride, Abby, has a sister who also worked at Chik-fil-a at the time. That sets the tone for this couple to meet. While at a public event of some kind, Camden, from across the room, thinks he recognizes a red haired girl that he knows. In his mind, he expected Abby's sister, Julia, whom he worked with. But as he approached her and started talking to her, he realized that it was not Julia, but a close look-a-like. Noticing that it, indeed, was not her, he decided that was the perfect ice-breaker to keep talking to Abby. That humorous, incorrect recognition turned out to be one of the best 'mistakes' that Camden made. With many more talks, pizza dates, and hangouts with family and friends, Camden and Abby noticed something more about each other. They fit so well into each other's families that the decision to get married was a no brainer! On the wedding day, each of them brought a rich history with friendships that lasted years. So much so, that TWO pastors officiated the wedding, Abby's lifelong pastor started by welcoming us to witness their union as we watched her walk the aisle with her dad. And the message and pronouncement to be married was given by Camden's lifelong pastor. With those relationships came some funny moments, and some sentimental moments. The rich friendships from both sides became one single set of friends as Camden and Abby tied the knot. The reception held a few different speeches telling stories of Camden and Abby, and the different perspectives of how these two met. The room almost felt like a big family dinner table while people listened. To reminisce on past dates, the newlyweds snuck away from the reception with a freshly ordered Pickleman's Pizza and ate it on the steps of a beautiful building in downtown Omaha. The sunset was perfectly golden, and these two enjoyed a fun portrait session, and their first pizza as husband and wife. When they returned to the reception, they were greeted by their separate friend groups, now one friend group, and the dance party was full and fun until the venue kicked us out.
