We love an extra emotional wedding video and this one will definitely make you cry! The bride gives the groom an incredibly special gift that he will never forget. The groom, Ty, is colorblind. Following their first look, bride Karli surprised him with EnChroma glasses. EnChroma lenses allow colorblind people to see aspects of color so this was the first time Ty was actually seeing color and his reaction is truly amazing! This moment will remind you how easily we can take for granted something as simple as seeing colors properly. We love hearing him describe what he is seeing. He is genuinely touched that Karli thought to get him such a unique and thoughtful gift. From the bride: "We’ve been together for a little over 5 years now. High school sweethearts and the absolute best of friends. :) He worked at the farm beside my parents' house and my twin brother became good friends with him. When thinking of something to get Ty for our wedding, it was quite hard! I remember throughout the planning process asking him a million times when I was deciding between our colors and what the groomsmen and bridesmaids should wear. He innocently said “That’s up to you. The color makes me no difference because I can’t see it anyway. We’re here for one reason and that’s to marry each other.” I think that’s the moment that it really hit me. There I was, sitting and contemplating for hours stressing about what colors to have for our wedding and my husband just cared about the true meaning of our day—not a silly color. It made me open my eyes and realize what we take for granted every day. The experience of giving him the ability to see color will never leave my memory!" Karli and Ty's rustic barn wedding was held at Vintage Oaks Banquet Barn in Delphi, Indiana. Ty wore a suit from Generation Tux and Karli's dress is from Ellen's Bridal and Dress Boutique. The wedding was planned by Something Blue and Sea Jay Films was the videographer. Toni Price took the photos. Take a minute to enjoy watching this beautiful interaction and be prepared to cry a little bit, or a lot if you're anything like us!
