Wedding Date on Jun 2, 2018

Tyler and Kirsten grew up together, with each of their families spending the summer at Maranatha Bible and Missionary Conference, a lakeside Christian conference center on Michigan's west coast. Year after year of spending every summer living and working on staff at Maranatha, their friendship grew into love. Tyler entered Kirsten's life (romantically) during the hardest season of her family's life: her father's last days in his battle against leukemia. Tyler became a rock for Kirsten and her family, and their love for each other grew even more during this difficult time. Tyler and Kirsten read their vows to each other in the solitude of the woods, at the same spot that Tyler proposed! Tyler and Kirsten wanted their wedding to be focused on gratitude. Gratitude for God's goodness in their lives. They said their "I do's" in the Tabernacle at Maranatha. Their reception took place at Kirsten's parents' beach front property, with an EPIC dance floor (the DJ might've been bribed $2 to play Sandstorm by Darude, our favorite part of the night). Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Tyler and Kirsten's wedding day was one of joy, gratefulness, and intimacy.
