Savannah saw Troy at a spring school soccer game; he was 15 and she was 16. They didn't talk to each other and they were not introduced. Savannah became best friends with Troy's sister(she didn't know she was his sister at the time) as they played school volleyball together. Savannah officially met Troy at a school Basketball Dance. She asked him to dance first. A few weeks later he texted her and they have been together for 7 years. August 27, 2017 - On the hottest day of the year, Troy took Savannah to practice shooting on her dad's property on a hill. While she was shooting, Troy told her he would be right back. He was setting up music and a video camera and lit the candles on a trail that goes up the hill. When he returned he told Savannah he had to show her something that he had found. Troy lead Savannah to a rose petaled trail which led to the proposal site. Candles, purple (her favorite color) blanket, video camera, Take 5 and Kit Kats (her favorite candy), sparkling grape juice, music and a sign that his best friend made that had "The Huddlestons" on it were all set out in a mowed grassy area. Troy sat Savannah down and handed her a wrapped gift (a picture book with captions that he had put together from photos from their years together). As she read through the book and looked at the pictures, she reached the last page. The caption on the last page hinted of a proposal. Then Troy stood Savannah up and got down on one knee and proposed. Troy is a property manager for Savannah's Dad's business. He mainly works outside managing the properties. He loves to shoot his gun, weld, and woodworking. Savannah is a manager at Watermelon Moon Farm (a gift shop, bed and breakfast and restaurant.) She is also a Certified Health Coach and she is a distributor for Juice Plus. She loves to read and spend time with her family. Troy and Savannah have a dog, Adela, they love spending time with her.
