Tamara & Darcy met on a July afternoon at the music festival “Rock The Shores” in 2013. They saw each other in the crowd and kept crossing paths throughout the day. The chemistry between them was immediate. Tamara knew she had fallen in love with Darcy about 3 months after they met. From that day forward they spent every day adventuring together for the past 4.5 years. Tamara’s parents transformed their backyard into a stunning waterfront venue for Tamara & Darcy’s special day! Everything from the bar, the arch, coasters, and cake topper were custom made. There's just something so special about private property weddings, Tamara & Darcy's wedding day was so unique and representative of them and their relationship. After their First Look, Tam & Darcy shared their vows, just the two of them (well, and a few cameras). Private vows are an amazing option for couples who are a bit shy speaking in front of a large crowd. In this setting, Darcy was able to open up, be completely himself, and say what he truly wanted to say to his future bride. It was beautiful. Another very special moment was Tamara’s grandmother’s speech. When she spoke about Tamara’s late grandfather, there was not a dry eye in the house. We asked Tamara if she was comfortable sending us a few photos or even a video clip of her grandpa. By incorporating these images overtop of the speech, this moment became even more emotional and impactful.
