Wedding Date on Oct 15, 2017

In March of 2015, Jade & Joe both attended a Model United Nations conference. Joe was Jade’s Supervisor, and there was a strict no fraternization policy. After a week of not being able to talk outside of the committee context, they met up on the last day and hit it off right away. When it came time for Jade to head back to Canada and Joe home to California, they stayed in touch. Eventually Jade decided to fly out to see Joe and they traveled around southern California for a week. Joe says it was this week that he fell in love with Jade; he knew instantly that she was the one. Jade agreed. They traveled between Victoria and Orange County for the next year until Jade finished her Undergrad, when she moved to Orange County to join Joe. They traveled to Dubai on vacation where Joe proposed in the At.Mosphere restaurant on top of the Burj Khalifa. As Jade says, their "whole life together is like a fairytale,” so getting married at the stunning Hatley Castle in Victoria, British Columbia was the perfect fit. If this castle looks familiar it's because it's Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters from the X-Men movies, also featured in the Deadpool movies! The typical west coast fall weather held off and we were blessed with an absolutely gorgeous day. Jade & Joe now live back in beautiful Victoria B.C. where they got married!
