Wedding Date on Aug 18, 2018

During our first meeting with Lauren & Tyler, Lauren shared with us that she lost her mother Debbie a few years ago and that her memory would be a very big part of the day. Debbie loved hummingbirds and told Lauren whenever she saw a hummingbird it would be her saying hi. We got to witness the most surreal moment on the morning of the wedding day, which became a beautiful way to start this film ❤ Lauren & Tyler met in 2011 at the Lamplighter bar in downtown Vancouver. They had their first date on August 18, 2011 at a Mexican restaurant called Lolitas. They got engaged September 23, 2018 after getting home from a walk in Pacific Spirit Park. Tyler proposed with the ring Lauren’s dad surprised her mom with on their 30th wedding anniversary. This wedding day was one for the books - the gorgeous waterfront venue, the beautifully decorated space by Barb & her team at French Kiss Events, the stunning floral arch and Lauren’s cascading bouquet by Ingrid Rose Floral Artistry, and live music by The County Line, this day was perfect. Lauren & Tyler tied the knot on their 7 year anniversary (it was an ongoing joke from their family and friends throughout the evening that it was about time they finally got married!) They shared a first look and private vows down by Shawnigan lake, which holds a special place in their hearts. We can’t describe how grateful we are to have been a part of this day and to have had the opportunity to tell this story!
