Olivia and Jaymes met in San Diego, CA where she was going to school and he was serving in the U.S. Navy. Their first date was at a coin-op bar-cade in North Park, and even though the date was supposed to end after the bar-cade, they kept hopping around to different quiet bars or restaurants to keep talking because they didn't want the night to end. 

From the start, Olivia told me they wanted an event that was laid back, intimate, and carefree - and their wedding day was exactly that. A perfect blend of sentimentality and fun that kept all of us smiling til the end.

She produced video journalism for The Boston Globe, where she won an Emmy Award for a story about sexual assault survivors. Her work has appeared on HBO, The Boston Globe, Center for Public Integrity, and The Today Show, among others. When Alex is not running the business she enjoys snuggling with her black lab, Dandy, building elaborate lego displays and tap dancing.

He graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and worked as a newspaper reporter in Virginia and Pennsylvania for four years before pursuing a master’s degree in Multimedia, Photography & Design at Syracuse University. His work has been published by The New York Times, The Player’s Tribune, The Dallas Morning News and National Public Radio, among others.
