Alice in Wonderland? Cowboy Disco? Enchanting and ethereal - magical and vibrant. There isn't another day that has been this intentional, intimate, exploding with personality, and a true reflection of its purpose.
All because two people swiped right. These two found each other on the apps, fell in love, and hosted their eclectic and rowdy wedding at The Grand Lady in Austin, Texas. It was a destination wedding for many of their friends and family and the two wanted this day to be immersive and transport everyone into Studio 54 / Alice in Wonderland / Western / Disco world - which they totally nailed.
Along with an insane transformation of The Grand Lady by the vendor team, Shelly DIY'd a lot of what made up the wedding day! The huge funky flowers, the mirrors, the designs - Shelly was able to bring a vision to life.
Side note: ummmm did you get a look at the acrylic chuppah covered in flowers? Absolutely insane, the whole aisle and chuppah on the lawn of The Grand Lady was pieced together by Ida Mayes Floral and it had everyone's jaws on the beautifully mossy ground.
The guests dressed in a springy Texas theme and crushed it - complete with bolo ties, hats, florals, and bright colors.
There were so many intimate moments from this wedding day. From the signing of the Ketubah in The Grand Lady to the traditional Jewish ceremony on the lawn - from the first look to running on damp earth together, Shelly & Daniel made sure that every moment was intentional and full of love.
Moving into the beautiful reception space at The Grand Lady that was transformed into a western Studio 54 club - the party took off. Starting off with the hora and made complete with a mechanical bull, espresso martinis, sexy outfit changes, and a fabulous balloon drop at the end of the night - everyone had an unforgettable night celebrating these two.
Shelly & Daniel had a wedding day that reflected who they are. They weren't afraid to do exactly what they wanted to do and make the day their own. And because of this, they had one of the most epic wedding days of all time. Cheers to Shelly & Daniel and many more years to come!
