Tooli + Sam's wedding was a day full of so much emotion and laughter. Nitooli is a poet and she wrote a surprise poem for her wife, Sam to be included in their wedding film. Because of Nitooli's native background, they knew they wanted to incorporate her culture into their wedding. Tooli designed her own wedding dress from a Pendleton blanket, which turned into the most beautiful, colorful wedding dress! Her mother wrapped her hair in a traditional navajo bun for her wedding. The ceremony was officiated by Nitooli's own brother, Sion, and they also included a native blanket ceremony where their mothers wrapped them up in a Pendleton blanket to signify their new union. The whole ceremony was filled with so much emotion and felt so spiritual for them and the guests.
