Nadia and Terrence are two of the most adventurous people I have encountered. Getting married in Yosemite felt absolutely right and 100% them.
They met as travel nurses, and recently just bought their own air stream to continue traveling the US in while living in all of their bucket list places. Of course, making sure to find a cross fit gym in each one to build community, something they do so well and that radiated on their day. Their friends and family absolutely rallied for these two.
When creating a film in such an epic place, it could be tempting to just focus on hero shots of the couple and the environment throughout. While those were stunning and so worth showcasing (especially because those are key pieces to the story), I knew that the feelings of joy and the love of their people was the core of their day. And for that reason, leaned very heavily on that for this film. I am so happy with how it turned out!!
From a hike to their sunset first look and vow reading at Taft, with their friends along for the ride, to a sunrise ceremony at Glacier Point, to their favorite live band in LA (who they used to go and see often and cultivated a real relationship with) playing at their reception at AutoCamp Yosemite. Where all of their closest friends and family got to stay for the adventures. And of course, their dog Zeus all suited up and ready for the journey too!
Terrence opened a gift from Nadia right before their ceremony— his grandpa’s hat and photos of them. So even though he and T’s grandma couldn’t be there, they were felt.
These two even rock climbed in Yosemite the day before their wedding and showed absolutely no fear of heights when sitting atop the mountain overlooking the valley.
Their day was unforgettable and their love for each other, their pup, and their people was the pillar to all of the intentional, adventurous and exciting elements radiating throughout.
