Molly and Kevin's story begins over 20 years ago when Kevin's family moved onto the same street as Molly's family. The families became quick friends and enjoyed many neighborhood barbecues and Christmas parties together. Kevin's family moved to Virginia just before he entered high school to pursue a business venture. The years went by but the families never really lost touch. Fast forward to 2016 when Molly reconnected with Kevin to pick his brain about fly fishing, a huge passion for both of them. As they described it, "We just started talking, and the conversation never stopped." They began a long-distance relationship, traveling from coast to coast, wading their favorite trout streams and reminiscing about old times. While catching their share of fish, they fell deeply in love. On a beautiful, sunny day at Heceta Head Lighthouse on the Oregon Coast, with their pup Ziggy by his side, Kevin got down on one knee and popped the question. Molly said yes, and one year later they said "I do!" Their wedding at Leftbank Annex in Portland was nothing short of gorgeous and full of personality. There were floral chandeliers, koozies with Ziggy's cute face on them, and mini pies from their favorite local bakery. Aside from their emotional first look, our favorite thing about Molly and Kevin's day was simply the two of them and their quirky, kind, insanely funny personalities! They're a joy to be around, and that truly shows in their film.
