Wedding Date on Oct 7, 2018

Megan and Jessie are a particularly special couple to us! Megan is one of our very talented cinematographers and a dear friend, so when she and Jessie were planning their wedding, we of course wanted to film it! Megan and Jessie met through Megan's sister. Upon their first meeting, Jessie was so nervous that she could barely talk to Megan for more than a minute, but she knew her life had changed. They began dating shortly after, and the rest is history! We actually filmed their proposal at the Oregon Coast as well as their wedding! On a sunny January weekend, Megan went to the beach for a girls trip, and was totally shocked when her dad showed up with a dress and told her she had 2 minutes to change and jump in the car. With the help of family and friends, Jessie set up a decorated arch on the beach with several signs leading a path for Megan. Once Megan arrived at the beach, she was greeted by one of her friends playing love songs on a saxophone, and then she followed the signs along the shoreline. At each sign there were photos of the two of them, accompanied by words about what Megan means to Jessie. Once she made it to the arch, there was a phone with a video waiting to be watched. Next, Jessie appeared from behind, and after sharing loving words, she got down on one knee and proposed with friends and family witnessing the special moment! Nine months later, their destination wedding in Tulum was one for the books. We arrived a few days before the wedding with perfect weather in sight. But that changed the morning of the wedding as Hurricane Michael hit the coastline! Plans had be altered and last minute changes were made, but no matter what, Megan and Jessie were going to say "I do," and no hurricane would stop them. Their day ended up being so perfect despite the weather, and we were left in awe of how everyone made the best of it. We could not be more happy for Megan and Jessie.
