Spencer hired a caricature artist to pre-draw him and Melina.  On the evening of the proposal, the caricature artist drew a fake live drawing and for the reveal, pulled out the one he pre-drew of Spencer on one knee proposing to Melina.  Spencer then dropped to one knee and proposed in real life to match the drawing.  What a clever concept!!
