In May of 2019, the two met at a friend’s graduation party, whom Gaby had known from school and Gage had known from church. Gaby walked in with her friend (and now bridesmaid) Kayla and saw Gage from across the room and told Kayla "Wow he's really cute!". Gaby asked their friend to introduce them and went up to Gage and said, “Hi I'm Gaby!” enthusiastically to which Gage replied “Hi”. They exchanged glances throughout the time at the party and when Gaby left, she asked their mutual friend for Gage's number. To her surprise, Gage had already asked their friend for Gaby's number and the two went on their first date soon after.
December 22nd, after four and a half years of dating, Gage surprised Gaby with the perfect proposal. After a night of dinner and looking at Christmas lights, Gage led Gaby to the dock at the winter park racquet club and got down on one knee as Gaby said yes and cried of happiness.
I envisioned my wedding as a beautiful day with romance and elegance as well as a lively party with great music.
My wedding day was the best day of my life. From the beginning of the day to the end it was filled with so much happiness. I got ready with my bridesmaids and mother and mother in law which helped me relax as we laughed and enjoyed each others company. Once I walked down the aisle and saw Gage, all my worries went away and I was filled with immense happiness. After the ceremony, Gage and I partied the night away as we enjoyed good food and danced the night away.
My favorite moment was seeing Gage as I walked down the aisle.
My colors were gold, white, pink and green. Romance and elegance was the vibe I was going for. Was going for something classic and timeless.
Flowers were white and pink and green. All from something borrowed blooms except for my bouquet from Oviedo Florist. My gown was perfect for the vibe romantic and elegant, it was a Broquet ivory gown with off the shoulder sleeves from Theory bridal house. Our cake was from Publix. We had a three tiered cake with pearls and the flavor was marble with vanilla buttercream.
We had all rented flowers except for my bouquet. The flowers were all silk flowers by a company called something borrowed blooms. They looked so real and even smelled real. This is something I would recommend to everyone. So easy and affordable.
Don’t stress about the small things, no one will remember those small details you stress about, even you will not care about those details once you are married and happy with your now husband!
