Markie + Drew's Teaser Film “GOOD MORNING, CAMPERS! Rise and shine! It’s a beautiful day in Equinunk, PA! Today is the big day!!” 👋🏼🏕 Tucked away in the woods bordering the Delaware River, Markie and Drew had the celebration they’d been waiting for with all of their friends and family after their small ceremony in 2020. Having grown up going to camp as a kid and now being an event planner, M’s picture-perfect vision sprung to life like nothing we've ever seen before. Custom flags were raised, cabins were decorated, Field Notes itineraries were printed, and bonfires were lit. Fortunately, there weren’t any counselors at this camp because all of us were ready to party well past lights-out (and we did). Just like the age-old movie trope where kids go off to camp and come home with new friends and that feeling of never wanting to leave, we can say that sentiment certainly held true for us after being with M + D and their group. After filming their ceremony last year and having been part of their 2021 weekend wedding getaway, we really feel like part of the family. Everyone at their celebration seemed to feel that too. Their love and joy extend beyond each other. Much like a summer camp romance, the memories will last a lifetime. M + D met belting 90s songs at each other at a Philly bar. They sang, they got cheesesteaks, they kissed, they fell in love. Years later they raised a flag at a camp in Equinunk, PA with their last name on it. Then their friends and family played camp games, dove in lakes, roasted marshmallows, and partied after hours in a gymnasium (temporarily) dubbed after that same bar M + D met at long ago. Everyone got to feel that feeling one more time. Of being a kid and having the time of your life and without even realizing it, falling in love with the people and experience of a lifetime.
