This wedding was incredibly sentimental. The bride, Madisen (me!!), is a full-time wedding videographer and has been taking notes for years on what would make their wedding day the most special. The couple said their vows on Madisen's family's private lake— the same place her parents also got married 28 years earlier almost exactly to the date! They boated almost 300 guests across the lake to the ceremony and back for the reception dinner and celebrations. A few other sentimental nods— the groom, Gavin, wore white to honor his parents' marriage as his dad also wore a white suite for their wedding, the couple rode around in the same exact boat Madisen's parents used on their own wedding day, and their reception boasted a giant sign that showed the words to their first dance song. Madisen being a videographer, also edited their own wedding footage.
