Madie & Jacob got married in an Encinitas backyard special to them, under the Banyan Tree with all of their closest family and friends. Their intimate, summertime gathering was filled with intention in every direction. An integral part of their story is how they are actually quite different people, but the core of it all and of their day, that even despite those differences, they love each other a whole lot, and that's all that matters. Their story is filled with patience and intention, and watching them look at one another while walking down the aisle made me FEEL all of those years of hard work and intention to get to that moment, with them. Their love just radiates and invites everyone around them in.
They spent their mornings with the ocean, a huge part of their upbringing and relationship. Madie with an ocean swim, Jacob with a quick surf with his best guys. Nature moved with them in and throughout their day.
They wanted their film to feel timeless and emotional, with a killer dance party at the end. Like really, really epic.
Their love is inviting, warm, and honest. They are goofy, sweet, authentic, and so sure of their marriage to one another. I hope you fall in love with them and their story through this film.
