"When people find out how long we've been together, we've always tried to play it off in saying that instead of one big relationship, we've actually been in a bunch of really small relationships with one another."
The moment I heard Jared and Madeline’s vows to each other I knew where their wedding video was headed. These two have been together since high school, and over their years together they have evolved and grown as a couple, and as individuals. I knew I wanted to incorporate snippets of these past relationships, leading to where they are today. They are also extremely creative (Jared designed all of the invites and signage for the wedding) and their wedding was so inspiring and we had TONS of amazing footage to choose from!
These two have such a sweet love story, and the mutual respect and love they have for each other is so evident in every interaction between them. They kept their wedding to their closest friends and family, and it was the perfect combination of intimate / epic dance party. Everything about their day and this couple was perfection, and it was such a joy to capture! Here is more about the couple, from the bride:
"High school sweethearts - love never claimed to be original. We met a couple years in HS before dating, Jared had a crush on me and I didn't give him the time of day until a couple years later when he had a girlfriend, oops. (she's married & happy now too!) We promised we wouldn't stay together after HS because we both wanted to "do college right" at our different schools but when the time came to break up we couldn't do it. We stayed together and alternated visiting each other, needless to say I spent more time in Austin than he did in College Station. Jared and I plus the cats we collected in college moved in together in ATX and a few years later on a hike at Enchanted Rock, which we regularly visited to get out of the city, he proposed. No one was around which I always said important to me in a proposal, I wanted to soak in the moment alone and also freak out with excitement without feeling embarrassed which I definitely did. It was basically perfect minus the fact that we were 2 weeks into a global pandemic."
