Wedding Date on Sep 8, 2018

We met through a mutual friend in college (around 2011 or so). After college Kevin joined the Coast Guard in 2014. In early 2015, Kevin was on a port call in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and mentioned on Facebook that he would be home in Wisconsin soon. The mutual friend then told Bri about a welcome home party for Kevin (there was no such thing). Kevin messaged Bri on Facebook that very same day talking about coming home and hanging out, and they have spoken everyday since then. While Kevin lived in Maine, Bri came and visited a few times before he went to school in Virginia. In August of 2016, Kevin learned that he was going to be stationed in Alaska (after telling Bri he'd never live in Alaska). Kevin moved to Alaska in October of 2016, and Bri moved up in January of 2017. While gold panning in Valdez in July 2017, Kevin showed Bri a golden speck in some of the dirt he dug up in a river. Bri pulled the gold out of the mud and realized that it was a Rose Gold engagement ring. Kevin and Bri now live in Wasilla, Alaska.
