Wedding Date on Apr 25, 2019

Kenny and I met through a mutual friend about eight years ago. We hit it off and fell in love very quickly. He helped me through the toughest time of my life after my mom passed away of breast cancer just short of a year into dating. He was my rock and best friend and I quickly realized I never wanted to let him go. Flash forward to 6 years later with a house and two dogs, Ken proposed at an Escape Room for our friend Garret’s birthday (the same friend who introduced us) and I was beyond surprised! It was one of the best days of my life. From that day forward, the wedding planning began! We knew we wanted an intimate and special wedding with our closest family and friends. A destination wedding had always been an option in our minds and we have always wanted to see the Redwoods of California. I came across Deer Park Villa while scrolling through Pinterest and automatically knew it was the perfect venue! We also knew we wanted to incorporate my mom into our wedding day and what better day to do it than on her birthday. It ended up being the most perfect spring day in California. We got to celebrate our love in front of 33 of our closest family and friends. Garret was even our photographer! Our life and love has completely come full circle and I couldn’t imagine spending my life with anyone else.
