From the groom: I planned an extremely secretive surprise proposal. A whole day that included swimming with giant sea turtles, biking around town, & exploring 3 different cenotes was planned just to throw her off. The backstory I came up with for the last cenote would be that we would all get lined up by the Mayan warriors to do a spiritual selection of who would be sacrificed to the cenote. Little did she know that when she would be selected as the spiritual sacrifice it was really all a set up for The Surprise Proposal!
