This dynamic duo enjoys adventures and travel. Nathan is originally from Australia, Sydney, but it was inevitable that the two would travel around the world to find each other right at a small pub in Boston. The two enjoyed some brews together and the night was history. It was Christmas in 2019 where Nathan was as Jessica puts it, "saying sweet things," before he proposed. Although it was a celebration of a graduation evening, it turned into a celebration of an epic proposal evening. Fast forward to June 22, 2021 and this couple continued their travels to Yosemite National Park for an incredible elopement.

Hi, I am Jutta, the founder and lead event planner and designer at A Day Like No Other; and I am so excited to have you here! Thanks for visiting!
So - what would be interesting to know about me? Mmhhh... let’s see.I am a physician by training (in my native Germany), and I also have a background in Art History and Design. When my own kids asked me to be their wedding planner, I was hooked! I had, in fact, found my new vocation, and that was the starting point for A Day Like No Other – Wedding Coordination and Design.Several years and many weddings later, I am still as thrilled and as enthusiastic about wedding planning as ever – just ask my brides and the colleagues with whom I am collaborating for my events. And what am I doing when I am not planning and designing a wedding or a big professional event? I love to cook (and I am told I am doing it really well) and even more to bake (same here) – everything fresh and from scratch. I love classical music and I love spending time with my family (the most important thing in my life!) and I love walking and playing with our dog Buzz. He is meanwhile the Senior in the family and “the boss.” And he was - you guessed it – the inspiration for my business specialty: dog-friendly weddings. Sometimes he even tags along when I meet my clients!

It may sound silly, but since childhood we’ve been captivated by the sensory treat of amusement parks — in particular Disneyland. The smells & sights, the nostalgia, and the singular feeling that you’ve entered a whole other world. It’s behind the camera that we’re able to enter that same ethereal world, shaping and creating with that truest feeling of immersion we held so dear as children. Even more than wanting to tell a great story on film, we pick up our cameras every day lucky enough to share yours! As stated earlier, we love Disney and all things thereof. We don’t try to emulate Disney per se; however, we most certainly take inspiration from the way Disney’s ability to capitalize on Nostalgia. We’re suckers for Nostalgia. That’s also what drives us…the desire to make the viewer feel something magical.We’re looking for couples who aren’t afraid to be themselves. Who aren’t afraid to tell more than just a story about how they exchanged vows one day. We want to create an heirloom that lasts long after you’ve driven off in the “just married” mobile. We want to tell the story about YOU and YOURS.
