Jessica and Chris's elegant Langdon Hall Wedding was one of our first of this crazy 2022 season. And what a way to start. It was a beautiful wedding, a beautiful day and very unique.
In particular, Jess's Monique L’huillier dress definitely caught our attention. Now we're not the kind of people who would pay particular attention to what a couple wear (we're much more interested in the experience they're having), but this was a little different because it was a source for creativity. Since it tied in so nicely with the gardens at Langdon Hall, they wanted to incorporate the colours (pinks, pops of blue, gold), and the motifs (butterflies, flowers) throughout the day. This was done through the invitations, details, menus, wedding favours, welcome sign, florals, and had @Nadia design their cake based off the print as well.
It wasn't just about the dress though. Jessica and Chris wanted to create an elegant and romantic atmosphere for their guests helping them to feel like they were on a small getaway from Toronto. Langdon has a nice, estate-feel with beautiful gardens, surrounded by the countryside. During cocktails we'd often see guests exploring the surroundings, clearly enjoying the experience. J&C made good use of Langdon's venues, having their ceremony in the Fireside Room and their reception in the Summer House. We also had enough time to take them through the estate for the multiple (!) first looks and creative session.
Jessica and Chris had a wonderful experience a their wedding. You can see from their film how they leaned into the emotions of the day and a ton of fun with their friends and families. They surrounded each other with love, excitement and happiness the entire day.
