These are the kind of wedding films we LOVE to make. Amanda and Devin didn't just invite us to film their Globe and Mail Centre wedding, they invited us into their home and shared their stories, hopes and dreams. They allowed us to create a film that had more depth, connection and personality. We weren't just there to film a wedding, we were with them to document a chapter in their lives.
Amanda and Devin's Globe and Mail Centre Wedding was yet another Covid casualty, and one that were were so disappointed to have to miss in 2021. But it was well worth the wait. Amanda and Devin are outgoing, fun, bubbly and open individuals. They shared beautiful vows with their guests, hugged, kissed, cried, and danced their way through this incredible day. They filled the space with gorgeous decor (Rachel Clingen Events), choreographed dances (Hit and Run) and live music from THE best wedding band this city has to offer (Sole Power). All of this was brought together by the talented, friendly and incredibly helpful Ashley Piggot Events.
The Globe and Mail Centre is one of our favourite downtown locations. It's so much fun seeing guests Jaws Drop as they're confronted with that spectacular view of the city. There is so much natural light that floods in and shifts in hue as the day goes on. The space is a blank canvas that allows couples to tailor their decor to their personalities. And that sunset. Holy sh**t. I wish we could have spent longer out there.
