Wedding Date on May 31, 2019

It's a George love story of a New York girl and a Texas boy brought together by food. On a warm August afternoon in Atlanta, they met on a spontaneous lunch trip to their favorite spot, Gusto. This is where Daniel dazzled Jaysly in the parking lot with a seamless impersonation of Patrick Star from Spongebob. That was all Jaysly needed to fall for this man. That and the fact that he had the same last name as her, so clearly it was meant to be! On Valentines day of last year, Jaysly gave Daniel a box of Waffle Crisp after previously bonding over their nostalgic emotional attachment to their favorite childhood cereal. She had hopes of creating a fairytale love story, but walked away thinking all chances were ruined by her boldness. Little did she know of the seed planted in his heart that night. What began as simple curiosity turned into so much more during an impromptu road trip with friends form Georgia to Virginia in March. It was in that car, they realized God was unfolding something greater than either one of them could have imagined. Exactly 7 months from their Waffle Crisp encounter, Daniel proposed to Jaysly on a beautiful overlook of The Chattahoochee River at sunset. It was also in this moment that Daniel explained how he had a ring ready for her since April because, "I knew I was talking to my wife in that car". The rest of their story is full of adventuring, endless eating, dancing until your pants rip, contagious laughter, and of course, car rides that'll always carry a special place in their hearts. On May 31st, 2019, they celebrated their love and entered a new season as husband and wife, and it was the greatest day.
