Wedding Date on Sep 5, 2020

Growing up, Kaleigh's grandmother would regularly bring her to visit Atalaya Castle. The castle is a STUNNING Spanish-inspired building on the coast of South Carolina built as a winter retreat in the early 1930s. Ever since those early years of visiting with her grandmother, Kaleigh's love of Atalaya grew, and she was determined that one day, she would be married there. Fast forward several years later, and Kaleigh was set to go to a cheer competition in Disney World. She had asked her tumble coach, Willie, to go with her on the trip, and after meeting at the airport, they set off on a flight that would change everything. Even though they had known each other for years, something sparked on that flight. Suddenly, they were both beginning to see the other as possibly more than friends. Eventually, they finally started dating. After years of dating, Kaleigh decided to throw Willie a surprise birthday party one year. However, unknown to her, Willie was secretly pulling the strings behind this party. What she thought was a birthday party actually turned in to a surprise engagement! Kaleigh said yes, and finally, she could plan her dream wedding at Atalaya. After dealing with all the stresses and details of planning, 2020 struck, and they had to delay their wedding from May to September due to COVID. And after all the years of waiting, everything finally came together perfectly on a beautiful late summer day at Atalaya. From their loving letters to each other to their beautifully written vows at the ceremony, both Kaleigh and Willie showed how deep their love for each other had grown. It was also obvious from the loving friends and family there, that these two truly knew how to care for everyone around them as well. The reception was a huge party, and at the end of the night, the dream was finally complete.
