From the bride: "Kennedy and I met in a community college in a class we had together. We had just both recently gotten out of pretty rough relationships. I remember also looking over and catching eyes with him because he was always looking over at me. In February of 2016 he actually messaged me on Instagram ( I later found out he got my name for the roll that the teacher would pass around for us to sign at the beginning of class). I honestly wasn’t trying to get into a relationship but I had prayed that God would send me a man that would put God first and love and respect me whenever it was time because my previous relationship was rough. The signs became so clear that God had ordained this relationship so at midnight on April 2nd, 2016 he asked me to be his girlfriend and I decided to take a chance! He told me that when he first saw me in class something told him, as weird as it sounded, that I was going to be his wife. Another sign was in March 2016 we got in an extremely bad ATV wreck. I ended up having a severe concussion and I had a gash on my forehead that went all the way to my skull. It came within a centimeter of hitting a main artery. The doctors kept saying how lucky I was to be alive. Kennedy never left my side the whole time in the hospital or through the whole recovery. I knew in that moment laying in the hospital bed even though we weren’t even dating that I loved him and he was going to be my husband one day... of course I didn’t tell him that (hahaha). I knew God had a purpose for us making it through that wreck! Kennedy is one of the most caring and Godly men I’ve ever met and I could not give up the chance to be with a man like that. He’s everything I prayed for and more and just another reason for me to be able to see just how good our God is! He proposed at my college graduation on the same campus that we met at! It was so perfect and we were surrounded by all our family and friends!! "
