"P.S. I Didn't Choose You, You Didn't Choose Me, God Chose Us"
When Hannah + Cody initially reached out to me, I knew their wedding day would have high emotions. Hannah & Cody both grew up with really tight knit families and you could feel the love they all shared for both Hannah + Cody.
There were so many big moments on this day, it was hard to encapsulate everything into a 9 minute film - from the surprise performance from country music star, Chris Kroeze, the surprise poem Cody's mom wrote for them at the ceremony, and the emotional letter's they wrote one another, and the Kentucky Derby Themed Reception, this wedding was one for the books.
What you wouldn't know from watching their film is that as the big day was coming up, the coronavirus pandemic hit the United States. Like many couples, Hannah and Cody could no longer have their large 300 person wedding at their dream venue anymore. They decided to get married in the country at their grandparent's home in Rice Lake, WI with all their closest family members and closest friends, cutting their guest list more than in half.
But their joy and their excitement still couldn't have been any higher.
I was so moved by them and their families, and I hope you are too.
