Matt and Hailey met a few years ago at a concert in a backyard in Austin, TX. Hailey was in town from Dallas visiting a friend and took them to this concert that bunch of her friends were going to and Matt was one of them. She left the concert with a huge crush on him, and she found out later that he had as well. They didn't keep in touch, but a year later she was visiting Austin as she was deciding if she was going to move there and they ended up seeing each other at another hang out and the rest is history!

Her work has appeared on HBO, The Boston Globe, Center for Public Integrity, and The Today Show, among others. When Alex is not running the business she enjoys snuggling with her black lab, Dandy, building elaborate lego displays and tap dancing.

He graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and worked as a newspaper reporter in Virginia and Pennsylvania for four years before pursuing a master’s degree in Multimedia, Photography & Design at Syracuse University. His work has been published by The New York Times, The Player’s Tribune, The Dallas Morning News and National Public Radio, among others.
