Wedding Date on May 6, 2018

The proposal story: "Piazza San Marco, Venize, Italy on a sunny day with birds in the sky and violin in the background : The most romantic place in the world to be asked ""Do you want to get married in New York with me ?"" That's how we got to celebrate our 10 years of love together, traveling from Paris, France to tie the knot in Brooklyn, NY with our friends and family ! " Wedding theme: Black, Gold, Music & New York City of course ! Both music lovers, and passionate about the hip-hop culture, we wanted to include music details in our wedding theme : our wedding invitation was a vinyl record with 10 songs you could listen to, our centerpieces were made of gold-sprayed vinyl records and music tapes with different song names and our wedding bands were tied on a heart-shaped vinyl record. NYC was obviously the theme of our wedding : as the skyline background, but also with mini Yellow Taxis & Empire State Buildings on the table and I Love NY chocolates for our guests as a souvenir. As a guest book, we displayed a Graffiti book where our guests could tag a New York wall ! What advice do you have for couples regarding hiring a wedding videographer? If you have the budget, go for it ! It is the best way to have a memory of the best moments of your day. Hire a videographer with experience and tell him what style you like. What advice do you have for couples planning their wedding? "Advice #1 : Do something personal, something that is related to your personalities, that will reflect your love story ! Keep it authentic and simple. Advice #2 : Plan. Budget realistically everything, get to know the value of each prestation. Use every digital resources to find the best affordable vendors and buy wedding-related stuff. I have planned 100% of my wedding online ! Advice #3 : Don't make your whole life about your wedding during the planning months. Don't forget to breathe and have other projects in mind : No wedding blues after the big day !"
