What makes the "Overboard" wedding film a bit different than most others is that although it starts as a relatively conventional wedding video, it turns into an actual short film (of the comedy genre) around the two-minute mark. What was initially planned as a more "dramatic" wedding concept, turned into the hilarious and the absurd, literally one day before the wedding when I remade the whole script to the last line in my mind and then guided the "actors" without ever giving them a written script. Almost of all of the story beats with the exception of some gimbal shots were done with an ultra-wide lens to add to the absurdity of the story. The whole concept shooting took place just the next day of the wedding and this shows the dedication and will of everyone involved since doing this after an exhausting wedding day (and night) is no small feat. Also we got lucky since we found an actual ship for location filming, and we did this by travelling around the Aegean Sea until everything is done! :)
