Wedding Date on Aug 20, 2020

Christina & Mike’s elopement took full advantage of all Big Sur has to offer. From the forests, to the coastal cliffs, the hills & the beach. These two planned such a unique and full day & I was so honored to be a part of it! Here are some BTS facts, just cause I like knowing about the creative process/fun random things myself, and figured y'all might too! 1. It was SO windy at Pfeiffer Beach where they read their vows! Even with my camera on a stabilizer, it was still all shaky. It made for some really awesome footage though (when we weren’t getting pelted with sand lol). WORTH IT! 2. When Christina first reached out to me about creating this film for them, she told me she wanted it to be put to a more vibey song, and not be super focused on their vows, as she wanted to keep those just for them (so sweet). Little side note, my films are usually quite the opposite of this (slower paced and very story driven). However, I loved her beautiful vision that suited them so well and was stoked to hop on board! 3. Christina surprised Mike with a white dress! He thought it was going to be a low-key/non-traditional day, and was pleasantly surprised at their first look to see her (looking so stunning) in a white gown. So sweet! I’m really pleased with how it all turned out. I am so glad to have created something for them that reflects Christina’s vision and their love. Something that they can look back on forever.
