Callie and Paul met at work (yawwwwwn). Boring, I know, but it get's better. After 2 months of dating, a little thing called Covid threatened to upend their relationship. Only thinking the covid stuff would last a week or 2, Callie invited Paul to quarantine with her at her family farm in New Hampshire. A week or two turned into SIX MONTHS of Callie and Paul cohabitating with their family, and learning a lot about each other VERY quickly. Callie likes to think she basically kidnapped Paul. Fast Forward a couple of years, and they chose the place where their relationship flourished as the backdrop to their fun, adventurous wedding!
Callie and Paul know how to throw a party! This unique wedding was hosted at their family estate in Holderness, New Hampshire close to Squam Lake. They kicked the festivities off by hosting an evening welcome party, complete with toasts and food trucks. The next morning, they did something totally unique and invited their guests to partake in a biathlon! Running 2 miles down to the lake, then swimming half a mile to their boat house where the party continued!
Several hours later, the wedding day began. After getting ready, all of their guests were shuttled on pontoon boats to Church Island, nestled in the center of Squam Lake, where Callie and Paul officially "signed the contract of marriage." It's also the very special place where Callie's brother proposed to his girlfriend after officiating the ceremony!
Everyone headed back to the boathouse and back to the farm for cocktail hour and reception, where more emotional and hilarious toasts took place, followed by first dances and a party in the barn!
Early the next morning, Callie and Paul were troopers and were convinced to come back to the boat house to jump off the roof in their wedding clothes, making for an EPIC drone shot and transition in their highlight film.
